Knife-wielding man assaults police in Barcelona, is shot lifeless

MADRID, — A person armed with a knife was killed when he attacked a police station close to the northeastern Spanish metropolis of early Monday, police stated.

“A person armed with a knife entered the police station in Cornella to assault the officers. The attacker was shot,” the Catalonia regional police stated on Twitter.
